I always use real black powder, which has a lower ignition temp. These caps work in that situation. As an aside, I’ve never seen another brand for sale

The CCI “Multiple Use” Musket Caps work fine in my Hawken. Each cap ignites the powder charge without any problems. Accurate Reloads has a good price on 1000 count.
