Accurate 2520 Powder Overview
Accurate 2520 in stock now is a medium burning, double-base, spherical rifle propellant designed around the 308 Winchester. 2520 is a “Camp Perry” powder and is extremely popular with many service shooters. 2520 also performs extremely well in 223 Remington with heavy match bullets (62 to 80 grain). This versatile powder has superb flow characteristics and is well within the threshold limit for the M14 systems. Made in the USA.

Using a .223 bolt gun and 70 gr projectiles . I was hoping to achieve some accurate reloads for predator hunting. At the firing range so far I’ve been able to get my groups to .795″. ( I regularly shoot .348″ with this gun). Very happy to be purchasing powder again

AA2520 meters like water and is extremely consistent from shot to shot. No progressive loader is as consistent as a good single stage. The catch is charge variance with this powder in my Dillon XL650 isn’t enough to see on the target. My ammo is still half MOA with this powder and my Dillon 650. Some say it isn’t as temp stable as others but I have live in Southern California. I have stable weather 12 months a year, so it’s temp stable enough for my climate. I see why the folks at Camp Perry love this powder. My 50 grain vmax, 75 grain BTHP, and 175 grain Nosler CC are all loaded with the same powder. Coyotes still get hammered. The target sled still comes up with an X and the sage rats still turn to pink mist. I will continue to use this powder until I can’t get anymore.
